We are proud to be professionally-trained volunteers, delivering life saving and property preservation services to our community.
AFC hosts several community events throughout the year, including: bingo, dinners, and breakfasts.
Fire, EMS, Rescue and Boat Rescue
Being a volunteer with a Harford County Fire/EMS department brings with it many benefits including a healthy state income tax deduction, a LOSAP (Length of Service Award Program) with retirement benefits, scholarship opportunities, professional development and leadership training and much more.
AFC also offers:
- “Charlie Riley Community Service Scholarship Foundation” – Applications open to members and immediate family members. The Foundation was formed to help fire and ambulance personnel wanting to expand their knowledge through education. By meeting qualified volunteer standards and performing 40 hours per month of duty time, the student is eligible to receive up to $3,000 per school year.
