The Darlington Volunteer Fire Company, with history back into the late 1800’s and incorporated in 1910, provides fire, rescue, and EMS services to the towns of Darlington, Street, Dublin, and mutual aide to the counties of Harford, and Cecil in Maryland, and York, and Lancaster Counties in Pennsylvania. The Darlington Volunteer Fire Company operates three Chiefs Vehicles, three 1000-gallon Pumpers, one Brush Unit, one Air Cascade Unit providing SCBA refill on scene, three Utility vehicles (one CAFS equiped, one ALS equipped) and two ALS-equipped Ambulances out of two fire stations. We also operate a Fire/Rescue boat with swiftwater crews.
Our Social Hall hosts several community events each year, is the meeting space for Darlington/Dublin Community Council meetings, bi-monthly Red Cross blood drives, and where CPR classes are held for the public.
